A salon has donated more than 400 inches hair to Locks of Love. The Valenti Salon on Beechmonth Avenue in Anderson Township with more than a dozen customers donated their hair.

Locks of Love is a non-profit organization that provides hairpieces to financially disadvantage children who are suffering from medical hair loss.

It is the first time the salon to have an event a benefit for the Locks of Love.
