Tina said “I will and I won’t. I wanna cry but Mykella got up at 6:30 a.m asking, is it time yet?”. She loved her daughter’s thick, long hair but it did a long time to comb out and was hard on her shoulders. Tina will save $40 a month for hair conditioner and treatments. How Mykella learned about Locks of Love? Tina said, her cousin has donated hair before and then Mykella heard about that so she decided to donate too.
Mykella doesn’t realize where to give the gift of hair but to some one for health purposes. Tina explained to her daughter that the hair would be going to someone who doesn’t have hair for health purposes.
Pam Kline felt honored that Hudspeths came to her salon for the haircut. She is a firm believer in the program and she has several people growing their hair out for this reason or purpose in Locks of Love. Mykella’s ponytail will be sent along with another one she cut recently.
