Connie Austin Welch decided to donate her hair for the people who facing the hair loss problem. Welch knows the emotional of losing her own hair as cancer survivor. She decided to donate her own re-grown hair for other cancer patients as part of the Pantene Beautiful Lengths Campaign. Connie Austin Welch and her daughter in Law Lisa Austin donated their hair to the same cause.

How To Participate
Locks of Love encourage a woman in all races and hair colors to donate their hair, as long as the hair meets certain requirements.

• At least minimum of 8 inches (measure hair from just above the elastic band of the ponytail to the ends).

• It may be vegetable dyes colored, rinses and semi-permanent dyes. Permanently colored or chemically treated, cannot be bleached.

• Should be freshly washed, completely dry, without any styling products.

• May not be more than 5% gray.
