Almost 60 people got their hair cut at Phoenix Children’s Hospital last Monday (June 30, 2008). The volunteers are donated their hair to an organization and its called “Locks of Love”.

Those hair will be put to good use, and make wigs for children’s who have some type of medical hair loss, Allison Bell said.

Getting her first hair cute in over 9-10 years, Jean Gonzales donated two feet of hair. Her family would be shocked when she got home. Because no one knew she was cutting hair today. She came with kind of long hair and when shes going home with short hair. Alexander weighed in on his 4-year-old sister’s haircut. The organization name “Locks of Love” is a wonderful cause said by Amber Mosely, a stylist for Salon Estique, which cut the hair.

Mosely offer free hair cuts for Locks of Love at the salon. He said “It is nice to actually come here and see the patients and the people who are going to wear these wigs”.
